Barbie: Just before I became a Christian, I began writing. This was the last thing I wrote before I gave my life to the Lord, and the first. I had everything finished except, "It holds my attention so powerfully. God's love, through the ocean, is easy to see." I couldn't figure out how to finish the song.

During that time, I went on a weekend retreat in Cape May, N.J., and that's where I met the Lord. (What timing, huh?) After spending a lot of time on the beach alone with the Lord, I came home with a new perspective of the ocean, and finished the lyrics to the song. Now the Lord has moved us just 45 minutes from the beach (DAY TRIPS!)!!! I'm a very happy camper!!
