Never Ending Stream

This was written in 1977, a somewhat prolific year for me as a songwriter. I wasn't very happy with the outcome of the recorded version (as with a large portion of Spring Rain), so I decided to do it again in 1991 when I recorded The Wind project.

Musically, this is a bit of Renaissance and maybe some classical guitar influence, which I was playing a good bit of in those days.

I wake up in the morning to the sound of Your voice
You call to me and remind me You're still there
You tell me to commit my thoughts and dreams to You
And that You'll fulfill my longings through the day

And my only desire is to live
And to share all I can give
Through the love that You've implanted in my heart
You are love - You're my life

You're my never ending stream that will never part

Through the times when I can't see
When You guide me in the decisions I should make
