King Of Glory

from Small Town, Big God by WIND

about

This idea came one day during my personal time of prayer and Bible reading. I suddenly thought I saw a connection between the church of Laodicea passage in Rev. 3 and Ps. 24:7-10. Here's Jesus, knocking on the door of the church, promising intimate fellowship (and lots more!) with anyone who opens the door to Him. Then there's the passage in Psalm 24 saying, "...be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in!" What an awesome thing...

lyrics

KING OF GLORY
(Nori Kelley)

Behold I stand at the door and knock
Does anyone hear My voice?
Behold I stand at the door and knock
Does anyone hear My voice?
Open the door, open the door
I'll come in

Behold I stand at the door and knock
If anyone hears My voice
Behold I stand at the door and knock
If anyone hears My voice
I will come in, I will come in
And dine

Lift up your heads O you gates
Lift up your heads you ancient doors
That the King of glory may come in! (repeat)

Who is the King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord mighty in battle
