Intro / Overwhelming My Soul

Barbie: Today during worship at church, they sang some older songs that brought me back to when I first gave my life to Jesus. ("Overwhelming My Soul" was a result of that time.) I sang those songs so loudly today. But as I went on, I began to weep and just move my lips silently. This happens to me a lot. This is what I'm talking about when I say, "You're overwhelming my soul.

Nori: When I was writing the music to this, I could just hear it being played on a 12-string electric. Since we decided it would be the first song on the CD, I wanted to sort of introduce different themes that would later occur on the album - hence the intro - with themes from 'Rise Up,' 'Wedding Suite' & 'Out Of Egypt' all mixed in with the riff from 'Overwhelming,' to kind of bring the listener into the feel of the whole album.
