This song was born out of the view that The Song Of Solomon could have a double meaning - that it was originally written by King Solomon for his love and bride-to-be, but that God may have also intended it to speak spiritually of Jesus and His own bride, the church, as referred to both in Ephesians and The Revelatian.

This was originally a slow to medium tempo song, but as we began recording, Barbie had the idea of trying it an upbeat bluegrass influenced style - I sort of balked at the idea at first, but after trying it that way, I grew to like it a lot!
